CONSTRUCTION OF 36 HOUSING AND PUBLIC GREEN SPACE. AARAU

The context determines the proposal. In this case, the context is not built, but rather the unique and specific situation of the plot in relation to the canal to the west, the east, and the forest to the north. It is the only plot that meets these conditions, making it singular.
Instead of an arrangement in a line, continuing the urban fabric, we opt for small groupings, villas in the forest, that act as both buildings and landscape, being part of both contexts.
Nature should blend continuously with the buildings, and the homes should open to three orientations with magnificent views. The buildings are discreetly integrated into the vegetation.
The villas are contemporary; they have a technical determination that makes them reflect the spirit of their time and, in this sense, are also extremely contextual.
Among these groupings, on the ground floor, various social spaces, laundry rooms, covered areas, and forest zones are located. These are meeting places for neighbors, the communal heart of the project.
The homes are efficient and flexible, without internal structural elements, and the utility areas are located in contact with the communication core. The interior space is free of obstacles and can be structured according to the user's needs. It is adaptable and transformable over time, socially sustainable.
The construction is simple and delicate, with a concrete perimeter structure covered by light metal elements that protect the necessary insulation to achieve a superior energy rating. It is also an efficient construction.
